Queria poder dizer aqui que em breve nos cinemas nós veremos um filme do Half-Life, mas isso não vai acontecer por enquanto, mesmo assim, um grupo independete chamado The Purchase Brothers fez algumas filmagens utilizando apenas U$500 para testar técnicas de pós-produção.
As filmagens são baseadas no Half-Life 2 onde eles não tinham roteiro e mesmo assim fizeram algo tão perfeito que agora a Valve entrou em contato com eles 
O grupo faz parte de uma grande empresa em Toronto, Sons and Daughters, entã e já fez outras produções de anúncios (incluindo para a apple).
